Dancing in a 'real live' environment is something else -
but where can you do it ?
To give you the chance of practising your dancing and enjoying yourselves we have an active programme of social events over the course of the year.
The core of these is the series of Saturday dances - one of these is held each month except for July and August. These are held in one of our class venues - most frequently Great Barton, and feature modern, upbeat music played over a cutting edge sound and lighting system.
We also believe in giving you the best possible dance experiences, and hold three Balls annually, giving you the opportunity of dancing to some of the best Ballroom and Latin live bands going.
Our Summer Ball will also be at Risby Ballroom, again with the Galaxy Big Band on 30th June.

Our flagship event of the year is our Extravaganza on 6th October 2012, where we have the best Ballroom band in the world, Ross Mitchell playing live for us, along with a demonstration by Rachael Heron and Gregor Rebula, the British Professional Latin champions.

We are also happy to organise a dancing - related theme at your events, eg special birthday parties or retirement bashes. These can be as little as playing music right through to a full blown dance tuition evening. On the back of Strictly these are increasingly popular, and more information can be found here
Talking of your own events, there are few things as important as weddings or civil partnerships and we have carved something of a niche in this area.
Unless you are seventeen or eighteen, of course, when the most important thing is the The Prom - wouldn't it be great to be able to dance properly with sophistication ?
We have a central calendar to keep track on exactly what is happening, when.
